Meetings are mostly held in Newtown Powys, Mid Wales with occasional meetings held in Newport, South Wales
Governing Council Members of the Valuation Tribunal for Wales are not employees and currently serve in a voluntary, unpaid capacity. Travel and other reasonable expenses that might be incurred in carrying out work on the Valuation Tribunal for Wales can be claimed from within the recognised limits. You may also be eligible to claim reimbursement for costs in relation to loss of earnings/childcare/care of the elderly/assistant carer, whilst carrying out work on behalf of the Valuation Tribunal for Wales.

Welsh language requirements

3 - Welsh language skills are not essential for this post, they are however desirable and will be considered if two or more candidates receive the same score at the application or interview stage.
